### Why Grind Rather Than Dig?

### What We Grind

The grinding machine has a rotating carbide-toothed disk that chews through wood and roots. It's loud, creates a lot of wood chips, and makes stumps disappear. We grind to 6-12 inches below surface level, which is deep enough for any typical use.
