Do you edge and trim as well?
Yes, included in the service. We trim edges along paths and borders, strim around obstacles, and leave clean lines. Not just running the mower over and leaving messy edges.
What's the difference between simple and full irrigation?
Simple systems use surface drip lines or soaker hoses connected to a timer on your outdoor tap. Full systems have underground pipes and pop-up sprinklers. Simple is cheaper, quicker to install, perfect for borders and beds. Full is better for lawns and larger areas.
Can you remove the roots as well as the hedge?
Yes, we can grind out or dig out roots depending on what you're planning next. We'll discuss the best approach when we quote - sometimes leaving some root structure is better for soil stability.
What type of compost do you use?
We use quality multi-purpose or vegetable bed compost depending on what you're planting. We can source organic options too. Just let us know what you're growing and we'll advise on the best mix.
What if the grass is really long?
We'll tackle it, but might need to cut in stages to avoid scalping. First cut higher, then gradually lower over subsequent visits. Takes a bit longer but gets better results than hacking it all off at once.
Will it work with my pots and containers?
Absolutely. We can run individual drip lines to each pot or container. Really handy for hanging baskets and pots that dry out quickly in summer.
