Multiple boards? Lining them up level with each other looks much more intentional. Use a long spirit level across the tops.
Behind door option. If wall space is tight, mounting on the back of a door works great - uses wasted space.
Combination boards. Some have cork one side, whiteboard the other, or magnetic strips. Really useful for different types of organizing. Worth considering when buying.

Depends how we fix it. Into solid wall or studs? Loads. Just plasterboard with regular plugs? Fine for paper and light stuff, but if you're planning to pin up heavy files or whatever, I'll use proper fixings or find studs.

Absolutely - just tell me who needs to reach it. Kids' notice board goes lower, adult one at normal eye level. We position it before drilling anything.
