- Slide covers: Push in direction of arrow and slide
- Clip covers: Press the tab and lift
- Screw covers: Tiny screwdriver, don't lose the screw
- If stuck: Don't force it - you'll break the clips
📐 Which way round?
- Look for + and - markings inside the compartment
- Spring end is always - (negative)
- Flat end is always + (positive)
- Match the markings on the batteries to the compartment

- Forcing stuck covers (they break easily)
- Mixing old and new batteries (use all new ones)
- Wrong type of battery (AA vs AAA look similar but aren't)
