Screen protector fitted perfectly with no bubbles, dust, or wonky edges. I supply quality tempered glass or film protectors and apply them properly in one go.

Stop Buying Packs of Three Because You Keep Ruining Them

You know how it goes. Buy a £6 pack of screen protectors on Amazon. First one: dust speck you didn't notice until it's stuck there forever. Second one: massive bubble you can't shift. Third one: you got impatient and now it's crooked. So you just live with a cracked screen instead.

Or you get it done properly in 15 minutes.

💡 Pro tip: Phone shops charge £15-25 for screen protector fitting. I charge £60 for the callout, but if you've got other small jobs (smart home setup, printer connection, cable tidying), I'm already there.

What to Expect

Step 1: Clean Thoroughly

I'll clean your screen with proper cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth, then use a dust removal sticker to get every last speck.

Step 2: Align & Apply

Position the protector perfectly, then apply it smoothly from center outward. If it's a liquid protector, cure it with UV light.

Step 3: Check & Test

Make sure edges are sealed, no bubbles anywhere, and touch/face ID works normally. Show you how to care for it.

🔧 DIY Tips

If you want to attempt it yourself, here's how to maximize your chances:

🔧 What you'll need

  • Quality screen protector (tempered glass recommended)
  • Microfiber cloth
  • Alcohol wipe
  • Dust removal stickers
  • Bathroom with shower (seriously)

🚿 The bathroom trick

  1. Run the shower hot for a minute to create steam
  2. Let the steam settle (this pulls dust out of the air)
  3. Clean and apply the protector in the steamy bathroom
  4. Dust won't land on your screen during application

📱 Application technique

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly
  2. Clean screen with alcohol wipe
  3. Dry with microfiber cloth
  4. Use dust sticker to remove every last speck
  5. Remove one side of protector backing
  6. Align to screen carefully (check camera cutouts)
  7. Drop gently onto screen from one edge
  8. Let it self-adhere, gently press out any bubbles from center

⚠️ Common DIY mistakes

  • Applying in a dusty room (kitchen, living room)
  • Not cleaning screen properly first
  • Touching the adhesive side of the protector
  • Trying to reposition a tempered glass protector (doesn't work)
  • Not removing all the backing layers (some have two)

💡 Pro trick: If you get a small bubble that won't push out, it's probably dust underneath. Carefully lift that edge with tape, use a dust sticker to remove the particle, then press back down. Only works if you catch it immediately.

Rather leave it to a pro? No problem - that's what I'm here for. Give me a call.

Good to Know

🎨 Other phone help? If you need other tech setup (smart home, WiFi troubleshooting, backup setup), we can do it all in the same visit. More efficient than multiple callouts.

Multiple family phones? If you've got several phones needing protectors, I'll do them all in the same visit for the £60 callout plus cost of additional protectors.

Privacy screen protectors? I can supply and fit those too - they're thicker and trickier to apply, but work brilliantly if you use your phone on trains or in busy offices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I pay someone to fit a screen protector?

Because doing it yourself usually ends with bubbles, dust underneath, or wonky alignment - and once a tempered glass protector touches the screen, you can't reposition it. I do it in one go, perfectly. Plus I supply quality protectors, not the cheap rubbish from eBay that cracks if you look at it wrong.

Do you supply the screen protector or do I need to buy one?

I supply it - price includes a quality tempered glass or film protector to fit your phone. I keep stock for common models (iPhones, Samsung Galaxies) and can get others in a day or two if I don't have yours.

Tempered glass or film - which is better?

Tempered glass for most people - it feels like the original screen, protects better from drops, and is easier to keep clean. Film is thinner and cheaper, but scratches easier and feels different. Unless you've got a specific reason to want film, I'd go glass.

My old protector is cracked - can you replace it?

Yes - I'll remove the old one cleanly, make sure there's no glass fragments or adhesive left, then fit a new one. That's actually most of my screen protector work - people buy them to protect from drops, then never replace them when they do their job and crack.

Do you do iPads and tablets too?

Yes - same process, just bigger. Tablets are actually easier to mess up because there's more surface area for bubbles and dust to creep in. I've got the right tools to do it properly.
