10 services available across Exeter and surrounding areas.

Getting onto a roof is expensive, disruptive, and risky. Scaffolding costs hundreds before anyone even looks at your roof. Our DJI Matrice 4 Thermal drone changes the game - capturing HD photos, 4K video, and radiometric thermal imagery from every angle, safely from the ground. We provide detailed inspection reports for roofs, chimneys, gutters, insulation, solar panels, and whole properties. Thermal imaging reveals hidden problems invisible to the naked eye - moisture trapped under membranes, insulation gaps letting heat escape, faulty solar cells. Whether you're investigating a leak, planning maintenance, documenting storm damage for insurance, or just want to know what state your roof is in, drone inspection is faster, safer, and cheaper than traditional access methods.

Common Questions About Drone
How quickly can you come out after a storm?
We prioritise storm damage documentation and aim to respond within 24-48 hours for urgent claims. The sooner we capture the damage, the stronger your claim. Contact us immediately after the event.
Do I need to be home?
Not necessarily - we just need clear access to launch from your garden or driveway. But most people like to see the live feed and discuss what we find on the spot.
How is this different from a visual drone inspection?
A visual inspection shows surface damage - cracked tiles, lifted flashings, loose ridges. Thermal imaging reveals what's happening underneath - trapped moisture, insulation gaps, heat escaping through the structure. Ideally you want both for the complete picture.
Can the drone actually see inside my gutters?
Yes - the drone hovers above and angles the camera down into the gutter channel. We can see blockages, standing water, plant growth, cracks, and joint failures. It's actually a better view than you'd get from a ladder because we can check the entire run continuously.
What information does the insurance company need?
Typically: photos showing the damage clearly, the extent of damage, what caused it (e.g. wind, falling tree), and any consequential damage (e.g. water ingress from missing tiles). Our reports are structured to give insurers exactly what they need.
When is the best time of year for a thermal survey?
October to March is ideal - you need a decent temperature difference between inside and outside for the best results. Early morning or late afternoon works well. That said, moisture detection works year-round because wet areas hold temperature differently regardless of season.
