How long does fitting carpet gripper take?
A typical room - living room or bedroom - takes about an hour once I'm set up. Larger rooms or awkward shapes take longer. If the floor needs prep work (like removing old gripper or levelling), that adds time.
How long before I can use the room?
Click-lock vinyl can be walked on immediately. Glued-down vinyl needs 24 hours before heavy use or furniture. We'll give you specific timings based on what we're fitting.
Can you match the trim to my flooring colour?
Usually, yes. Most laminate and LVT brands include matching door trims. If you're using your own flooring, check what trims are available. I can also fit generic trims in oak, walnut, or white if needed.
Will removing a tile damage the ones around it?
We take care to remove damaged tiles without cracking the neighbours, but sometimes old adhesive or brittle tiles make it tricky. We'll assess the risk before starting and let you know if there's a chance of collateral damage.
Can you match scotia to my flooring colour?
Usually yes. Most laminate and LVT ranges include matching scotia in the same finish. If you're using a budget floor without matching scotia, I can fit generic beading in oak, walnut, white, or pine - we'll get as close as possible.
