Common Questions
Can you fit solar to a van I am converting myself?
Yes. We fit the solar, leisure battery and 12V side of a conversion, and we can work in alongside whatever you are doing on the rest of the build. Tell us where you are up to and we will fit around it.
Will it run a fridge?
A 12V fridge is a common part of a van setup. We size the panels and leisure battery with the fridge in mind, and we will be clear about what the system will comfortably run before you commit.
Do you do van electrics as well as the solar?
Yes. We handle van electrics, so the solar, leisure battery, lighting and 12V points all get wired in as one tidy job rather than bits and pieces.
Is this off-grid?
A van setup is off-grid by nature. It runs on its own panels and leisure battery rather than the mains, so it sits outside the grid paperwork. We wire and fuse it safely and label it clearly.
